Moving is soo much fun! But it's cool once all the packing and unpacking is over with. As for Live 8... I guess no one ill know who plays where until the actual concert.

I actually like moving. Mind you the upcoming move I'll be making won't be as big as the others--but nonetheless it's still for the good...... (as far as I know)

the thing I like is that you can start new with everything clean again. nothing to dust!! (at least for a couple days)

Ha so naive! ;D Poor me had to take this apartment 'as is' which meant I had to come in early and wash the walls and the carpets, clean the cupboards and wash the fridge. Mind you it was well worth it after it was all done.

We had to do the same in the apartment we used to live in too.. the people that lived in there before us even left a couple of carpets and plants! Those went first. At least for those first couple of days Orange you can just relax... I always like the feeling of anew place .. and a clean one at that. ;D

I can Imagine! Watched the Canadian concert on the tube and while some of the acts weren't really my cup of tea it was a rather good show. Showed performances around the world as well plus a 'greatest moments' five hours special from all eight concerts. When they ended the Canadian concert I almost wet myself! Everyone on stage with none other than Neil Young himself leading them all in 'Keep on Rockin in the Free World' I could have died from bliss! In case you didn't know... I adore Neil! Though Canada doesn't have the big name artist like Britain and the USA there were some memorable moments. Bruce Co.ckburn (don't laugh that's his name ;D) played 'If I had a rocket launcher', Jan Arden was good as always, Our Lady Peace was there, Bare Naked Ladies (Bet Cookie really loved that! ), Dan Akroid joined The Tragically Hip and Gordon Lightfoot even preformed (and yes I am old enough to admit I actually like Gordon Lightfoot)

I know the Dandy warhols really like Gordon Lightfoot, and if you agree then he must be good!

I watched it yesterday too (on the TV)... quite enjoyed it, even if I wasn't a fan of some of the artists. It was also nice to see some of the preformances from around the world. ;D Cult - My art teacher is a big fan of Neil.. she would always play his stuff during class.

I didn't say I didn't have to clean it- just that it'd be clean to start with! ;D I've been cleaning like a madwoman for two weeks (you have no idea how ocd I am about that sort of thing- I'm seriously considering investing in a hazmat suit!)...

I couldn't last the whole way through, at about 10:00 I was too tired and hungry (plus Mariah Carey came on) so I left... It was a great day though.

hehee, i remember sitting in that dirty room that smelled of stale ciggys and cheap perfume in thailand telling my teacher " I have a friend who's going to that.." she sits up in bed and looks as me and asks where. I say london of course! the BBC and CNN were the only things worth watching. and i was wishing they'd get madonna off the da.mn screen.
