oh man, i don't even know where to start! but some of the english words, we say. like, lollipops are lollipops to us, not suckers. and i always say icing, not frosting. and we say over the top. but, it's funny seeing the phrases that mean the opposite in britian. like, to table something in britain is to talk about it, whereas over here it means don't talk about it!

Ahh, I want that phrasebook! Hmm, I haven't seen that TV show! It sounds funny though. I don't watch a lot of TV anymore. Just when I have absolutely nothing to do. However, I admit I watch The O.C. every Thursday. Oooh, I think that's on soon. I love: The Kids In The Hall, Arrested Development, Angel, The O.C. (which I mentioned already), Futurama, The Simpsons, Creepy Canada (which is about hauntings), Mythbusters, News Radio, Scrubs, E.R., CSI Miami, Saturday Night Live, Mad TV, Much More Retro, Conan O'Brien. I like South Park and Family Guy, but I don't watch them so often anymore. I prefer The Simpsons because I grew up with it.

I love Rick Mercer! ;D And talking to Americans is fucking hilarious ! here are some links: www.radio.cbc.ca/programs/thismorning/sites/a&e/mercer_010330.htmlen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talking_to_Americanshome.comcast.net/~wwwstephen/americans/Here are some of my favorites. -persuading Americans to congratulate Canada on legalizing insulin or adopting the twenty-four-hour day, -congratulating the Canadian government on building a dome over its "national igloo" (apparently a downsized version of the United States Capitol) to protect it from global warming, -agreeing that the U.S. should bomb Saskatchewan or send ground troops into Gilles Duceppe, -asking if Jean Chretien- Pinochet should be charged with crimes against humanity. -asking Harvard students and professors to sign a petition asking Canadians to discontinue the practice of abandoning the elderly on ice floes. ;D ;D ;D

meh you caught me off gaurd with that. do they really put old people on ice like that? i thought that was some stupid myth that just keep being retold, like the chinese food place that cooked up a lady's poodle for dinner and when they gave her the check they handed her the collar too. oh well i'm off on a ramble now. see what you've done! i blame you entirely you know (joking)

okey dokey, this will make sense to some of you anglo-comedy lovers out there! who remembers trigger happy tv? well it's back!! well, back under a new name because don joly works for the bbc now. it goes under a new name (world shut your mouth), and if anything it's more surreal now than it ever was... but best of all, there's a new goth character... wittering away about the hollowness of existence and the darkness of the soul and how he could die cold and alone at any minute... to two OAPs!! (and all this while lullaby was playing in the background)
