It won't be too crazy, I am getting on a tad.
Here is the proposed schedule, which may seem very quaint...
Invitation to Darren’s Stag Day Saturday June 11th 2005
Dear
You are cordially invited to take part in Darren’s stag day on June 11th to prepare him for life as a husband after June 18th, when he will be marrying Becky.
The day will be in various parts and you can opt in to whichever ones you wish, unless you are the Mark Palin who is best man and expected to be present throughout. I have tried to put together a day that doesn’t involve spending too much and travelling too far.
The proposed schedule
9am: Meet at Chichester Golf Club, Hunston circa 9am for a cooked breakfast then partake in nine holes of “pitch and put“. After this reconvene in Chichester. Cost: £** for breakfast and £** for golf.
I would suggest the imbibing of alcohol be put off until phase 2.
12.30pm: A Chinese lunch from the Set menu of The Dragon, opposite the Market in Chichester. Cost: £7.50 plus drinks and gratuity.
C2.30pm: Bowling at the Lakeside Superbowl, Canon Gate, Chichester. Two frames plus any desired “refreshment”. Cost: £10.00 plus drinks. A DEPOSIT WILL BE NEEDED IF YOU WANT TO DO THIS BIT!
C6.30pm: Your choice of MacDonald’s, KFC, Frankie and Benny’s or whatever you can find to refuel before the final phase of the evening…<br>Cost: depends!
c.7.30pm: Around town, starting at the Hard Rock café and moving north and east towards St Pancras and The Hornet so I don’t have far to be carried home. Cost: Depends!
Please return the attached slip to me so I know who is coming.

;D Congradulations!! Sounds positively lovely! But my graduation is the 12th and then I have to go down to Georgia for three days for college things, like meeting a roomate. What a drag... I'd love for an excuse to go to England! I don't know what a stag day is, but I'm sure you'll have fun with that too. I'm happy for you! <3

A stag is another name for a bacholar party. Congrats Crimson ;D... but what ever happened to the good ole days when having a stag meant getting pissed drunk and waking up the next morning with a stripper?

I did the invites today. We are ready to send out the actual wedding invites apart from my other half hasn't got off her arse and written down her list yet. It's all getting very official but I sort of agree with Robert, it's just an excuse for everyone to meet up and have a party. And hopefully give us lots of money.
We are going to China for our Honeymoon, at £3,500 the most expensive holiday I've ever had by far! This is why we need lots of dosh for our pressies! It's all her fault, she wanted to go somewhere she hasn't been before, which is just about everywhere for me but she's been all over the joint. Dagnamit.
