Ah, you see the difference is that Colcannon is a dish, Bubble and Squeek is just left overs! Funny how if the irish cook it it is delicious, no nonsence food but if a Brit cooks it it is filth!

okay, so thanks for the suggestions guys, but i think i'm doing a spoof. at christmas, i made these peppermint patties (from scratch!) and they were a huge hit, so i'm going to make them again, only dye the filling green and call them peppermint paddies yay for punny goodness
