Hopefully this isn't being discussed somewhere else that I haven't found...
OH MY GOODNESS! That was probably one of the best things I've ever seen. For anyone who didn't get to see it, I'd be happy to arrange a way to send you a copy (I taped it) because it's really THAT good. Some of the song choice was fantastically surprising, and the performance was perfectly imperfect. We even have Robert saying that The Blood is from The Top... hehe. Hooray for being human!
The atmosphere was just right, making it the best Unplugged Show I've seen, and not just because it was The Cure. Even my mom was sold. She thought it was wonderful how happy he looked... just like a giddy little boy, obviously THRILLED to share these songs with you. We both noticed his gorgeous cheek bones... but that's another story. My dad says that the more he sees Robert perform, the more he really likes him. He says that he's beginning to understand... and he continues to mention how looking up to the right is a good look for Robert.
Well, I could go on for quite awhile longer about why Unplugged was wonderful, but I'll stop. My only complaints: too short, not enough shots of Simon.

It is a great show. I love The Walk on it, the 'definitive' version with all the kazoos! Have you got Play Out yet Ghani? because there's a few bits on that that weren't in the original broadcast (letter to elise and the full length if only tonight we could sleep), plus some backstage stuff.

Yes, I have Play Out... but the US version is slightly different. It doesn't have If Only Tonight We Could Sleep... but I have the audio of it.
Play Out's definitely a good one as well. Too bad I need a new one because my tape kinda sucks...

Man, you can find everything on Kazaa... it doesn't work on my computer. Instead, I had to convince my parents that we needed 30 new cable channels... but it's been very good. There's going to be another Cure show on this coming Sunday on one of the new music channels (TRIO). And last night I turned on the TV, and it was Lullaby, and then Charlotte Sometimes. Not that I haven't seen the videos, but I still completely over-reacted because I wasn't expecting it... I mean, I close up of Robert lying in bed and all... it's enough to make a girl choke on her french fry.

unplugged was brilliant! I loved the toy piano (and the kazoos, of course!).
