I LOVE this album! to me, it sounds like robert & simon discovering how cool it is to have a real drummer- the possibilities that it opened up allowed them to shine as a band. I think the quality of the songs took a huge jump forward from the early stuff, just because they could all play.
I also agree with crimson- in between days and just like heaven are rivals for the most perfect pop songs ever.
sinking is one of my absolute favorite cure songs.

Hah, that's totally true! They could finally just let loose and didn't have to worry so much about Lol...
I love Sinking. I remember when I listened to it the first time, and the lyrics perfectly matched the way I was feeling. Perfectly. I should write a song called "Man Inside My Head" about that one... yeah, I'm lame.
