Ditto! I really can't stand how people think they Cure sound depressing.. For me they give me a feeling that everything will be okay.. comforting, as you all said. I don't see how that is depressing ...

The songs may be about things that are depressing, but when you can relate to it, it's a wonderful thing because god knows this world is filled with too much "packaging" and propaganda, at least we're listening to something real and not manufactured. If you have a bad day, you always feel better after listening to The Cure whether it be Faith or KMKMKM.

I'm so glad they remastered this album, because even though I knew the songs, it was like hearing them for the first time in a way. I agree, it's the fact that the emotions are so real is the reason I can still connect with this album 15 years after I first heard it, indeed 24 years after it first came out...

I like to listen to it when I go to sleep. It puts me in a very calm state and especially when I have my bouts with insomnia.

When I listen to them it's like everything that I'm thinking is coming out through Robert's lyrics... I feel so much better after lsitening to The Cure.. I just wish others could see and understand that, besides you guys of course.

Sometimes (in fact, a lot of the time) I find that it takes someone else spitting out words that make sense of what it is you're trying to say.... Robert's been good at that a hell of a lot of times...

Sometimes I wish I could express myself that way, but it's aspect of being able to relate too. I know you all understand what it is to be the "social minority" and sometimes I just get depressed watching everyone around me run around like sheep.
