I found this book, The Melancholy Death Of Oyster Boy, in the virgin Outlet store at Gunwharf, Portsmouth. I'd never heard of it before but it was rather lovely and twee and a bit perverse and dark as only Tim burton can do. Has anyone else come across this?

I never even knew he wrote books! good on him, and I shall have to keep an eye out for this.

It was only £2.99, if you have an outlet place near you have a look, I don't think it's in the main shops any more as it is about 8 years old. I also bought the Ian Curtis biog by his widow. The Burton book is very Roald Dahl.

"But in a few short minutes (no longer than ten) those wet greasy stains started forming again"
(that's why I've got an affinity with Stain Boy, everyone!)
