I have had to recently admit that I am indeed a very sad git.
I have taken the day off and pre-ordered tickets to go see Episode III at it's first showing in my town, 9.15am on May 19th.
Sadly we missed out on free tickets to see Hitchhikers from Empire online because my lovely fiancee was too drunk to go get them, so we will have to pay now. Never mind.

that's just dedication, not sadness... I'll do like I did with Clones, and just leave it a week til all the crowds die down a bit...

Well, I've seen Hitch-hiker's now and I was a little disapointed but on reflection I think I was a little harsh. I wanted it to be just like the book which would have involved several films and I think they approached it as a one off...only slightly hinting that there may be a follow up.
It looked good, they got pretty good actors to cover the characters, I can't complain too much. And Zoey Deschanel is a honey.

that's usually how it works. read book, they make movie, and you dislike movie because it skips pieces in book. ;D only i feel justifed in disliking QotD.

I think Trainspotting is the only book I read where I thought the film could've been better...

... I'll let that slide. Just kidding... like all movies Trainspotting wasn't as good as the book but that's what happens when you try and fit an entire book into 2 hours... mind you I was luck I saw the movie first and then read the book, usually it's the other way around and I end up thinking "What the fuck?" So looking forward to ep3... James Earl Jones as the voice of Vader! Seen some of the traillers now too and it's looking very promising... I wanna dress up as a Sith, just don't know if I can get one of my friends to come along with me if I do... Aw heck I'll go alone! ;D But I really do love Trainspotting ... Hey Ewan McGreggor's in both movies, way to bring the thread together Dandy! ;D
